Abstract

This article, through exploratory research, based on deductive reasoning and the technique of national and foreign literature review, seeks to achieve the state of the art of the legal nature of the Covid-19 pandemic as an ecological disaster and its impacts on the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) No. 1, 14, and 15 of the 2030 Agenda and the need to face it following sustainability. I will bring a brief explanation about the Covid-19 pandemic. I will also analyze the correlation between human interference in natural habitats and the emergence of zoonotic diseases and then address the concept of disaster within the scope of the law and the classification of the Covid-19 pandemic as a biological disaster. Finally, I will analyze the impacts on the implementation of SDGs No. 1, 14, and 15 of the 2030 Agenda. This research is justified given the frequent increase in disasters worldwide. That highlights the need for an androgenous intervention based on sustainability.
