The ANVUR (Agenzia Nazionale di Valutazione del Sistema Universitario e della Ricerca) is a national agency in Italy responsible for assessing the quality of universities and research institutions in the country. It was established in 2006 and is tasked with ensuring high standards in higher education and scientific research, both in public and private institutions.

Dialnet is an open-access platform and one of the largest databases of academic literature in the fields of humanities, social sciences, and law in the Spanish language. It was created and is maintained by the University of La Rioja, in Spain. Dialnet offers a wide catalog of articles from scientific journals, books, theses, and other academic publications from Spanish-speaking countries, and also includes works in Portuguese, English, and other languages.

 

Google Scholar is a free search tool developed by Google that allows users to search and access academic literature, including scientific articles, theses, dissertations, books, abstracts, patents, and court decisions. Google Scholar indexes publications from various fields of knowledge, facilitating access to peer-reviewed content provided by publishers, universities, academic databases, and institutional repositories.

O DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) é um diretório online que indexa e fornece acesso a revistas acadêmicas e científicas de acesso aberto e revisadas por pares de diversas áreas do conhecimento. Criado em 2003, o DOAJ tem como objetivo aumentar a visibilidade e acessibilidade de publicações científicas que estão disponíveis gratuitamente para o público, promovendo o acesso aberto a resultados de pesquisas acadêmicas em nível global.

 

   

CAPES Journals is a portal providing access to academic and scientific content, maintained by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), a Brazilian government agency linked to the Ministry of Education. The portal offers free access to a vast collection of scientific journals, databases, e-books, theses, dissertations, and other academic materials from various fields of knowledge.

Miguilim is an initiative by the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (Ibict), created with the purpose of aggregating, in a single location, information about scientific journals edited and published in Brazil that were previously scattered across different platforms. The Directory compiles in its database the registration of essential information on the editorial policies of thousands of Brazilian scientific journals and has the following primary objectives:

OpenAlex is a catalog of scholarly works managed by OurResearch, a nonprofit organization that develops tools for Open Science. The platform maintains records of articles, datasets, books, and theses. Additionally, it tracks connections between works, identifying associations through factors such as journals, authors, institutional affiliations, citations, concepts, and funders.

The Directory of Editorial Policies of Brazilian Scientific Journals (Diadorim) is a service provided by the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (Ibict) that compiles editorial policies regarding the storage and access to articles from Brazilian scientific journals in open-access institutional repositories. Diadorim serves to locate information on the access and storage policies of articles from Brazilian scientific journals in open-access institutional repositories. It is a service aimed at authors, journal editors, and institutional repository managers.
